Surrounded by beautiful mountains, Splügen is one of the oldest and most authentic alpine pass villages in Graubünden. Today, this picturesque southern region of Switzerland seems quiet and sleepy, untroubled by the hustle and bustle of large groups of tourists. But reasons why Splügen is the centre of this alpine pass are evident.

The Hotel Bodenhaus bears witness to the history of the area. Built in 1722, it was designed to provide accommodation for tradesmen and travellers. Due to careful and meticulous renovation in recent years, the original character and charm of the building has been restored. Where once it was a stop on the way through the alpine passes, it now offers a destination catering for both those in search of action and retreat.

We look forward to welcoming you here.
